The 1983 squad also won eight games (8-2) and captured the MIAA championship with a 5-0 mark. Offensive linemen Bob Fallon, Don Quigley, Paul Mooney, specialists placekicker Mike Farrell and punter Tom Wakeling, defensive back Jeff Hood, linebacker John Iafolla, wide receiver Mark Leidholdt, fullback Steve Motte, defensive linemen Greg Pscodna, Mark Swirczek and running back Ron Roosevelt all made the all-conference team.

Labadie steered Adrian to a 53-21 worksheet--including a 30-10 MIAA record--for a .716 winning percentage in his eight years at the helm, a trio of MIAA titles (1983-88-89) and an appearance in the 1988 NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The event was held on Sunday, Aug. 12, in Saline. There were 50 former players and coaches who attended accompanied by 20 spouses and a few children. Another 22 former players wanted to attend but the day couldn't fit into their work and personal schedules.
