Bulldogs Compete in First MIAA Spring Qualifier

ANGOLA, Ind. – The men's golf team began their MIAA Spring Qualifier at Zollner Golf Course on Saturday and after 18 holes sit tied for third place with a 297. The team will have 36 more holes to play and are chasing Hope who shot 284. Trine fired 294 on the day and Calvin tied the Bulldogs at 297. The winner of 54-hole qualifier will represent the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association in the NCAA Tournament.

Brandon Skytta had a career day shooting a two-under par 69 and tying Evan Telzerow of Hope for medalist honors. Cam McKee tied for ninth with a two-over par 73. Nick Hocker fired a 77 and finished third for Adrian. Jordan Juday was the final score counted towards the team total with a 78. The final 36 holes will be played on Friday and Saturday, April 24-25 at Wuskowhan Players Club in West Olive, Michigan.
