Freshmen Propel Men's Golf to Runner-Up Finish at Steven Tyler Intercollegiate Invitational

PORTAGE, Mich.--The Adrian College men's golf team shot a 309 to come in second place at the 13-team Steven Tyler Intercollegiate Invitational hosted by Kalamazoo College at The Moors Golf Club on Monday.

The Bulldogs were led by the freshmen trio of Mo Harb, Andrew Skibski and Jack Stover who all shot a 77 for a seven-way tie for fifth place overall. Senior Nick Hocker was right behind with a 78 (12th place) and sophomore Zak Hart was a 79 (T-13th).

Hope College edged the Bulldogs for first place with a 308 team score, and the Dutchmen pair of Winton Munch, Ben Kramer also shared medalist honors with a 74 apiece.

The host Hornets came in eighth with a 333.

Adrian hits the links again this weekend at the Rosencrans-Maurer Sub-300 Invitational in Springfield, Ohio, on Saturday-Sunday.
