Men's Golf Shaves Off Five Strokes and Moves Up a Spot in the Final Round at the Rosencrans-Maurer Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio--The Adrian College men's golf team shot a 314+309=623 to finish in eighth place at the Rosencrans-Maurer Invitational which concluded on Monday at the Springfield Country Club. The 36-hole event was hosted by Wittenberg University.

The Bulldogs shot a 314 after the opening round on Sunday, but shaved five shots off over the final 18 holes today. 

Contributing to Adrian's team score were sophomore Zak Hart (80+73=153, T-28th), senior Nick Hocker (79+75=154, T-30th) and freshmen Mo Harb (76+82=158, T-42nd), Andrew Skibski (79+82=161, T-45th). Classmate Jack Stover added an 84+79=163 for 56th place overall. 

In the team standings, the host WU Tigers set a course record with a 282+283=565, breaking the previous mark of 572, to beat Otterbein University, 288+291=579.

Otterbein's Adam Crider was the top medalist with a 71+68=139.
