WYOMING, Mich.--Adrian College senior Andrew Skibski (Monroe, Mich./St. Mary's Catholic Central High School) has been named to the second team for All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's golf. He is a three-time all-conference standout, including first team recognition during his junior campaign in 2017-18.
With the conclusion of the MIAA Fall Championships over the weekend, Skibski ranked eighth with a 73.8 stroke average for six rounds in conference play. He twice recorded a 69 for the squad's lowest score, including a runner-up finish at the Sep. 12 MIAA Jamboree #1 in Battle Creek at the Bedford Valley Country Club. Overall, the athletic training major also led the Bulldogs with a 74.1 stroke average for 10 rounds that covered seven events this fall.
A year ago, Skibski was the first Adrian men's golfer since Cameron McKee in 2013 to place on the All-MIAA First Team.
The Bulldogs will announce their spring season soon.
