Men's Golf Sits in Sixth Place after MIAA Fall Final First Round

EAST LANSING, Mich.--Adrian College produced four golfers in the top-20 as the Bulldogs opened the first round at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Fall Men's Final on Friday with a 311 team score on the Forest Akers West Golf Course. Adrian concludes its fall schedule at 9 a.m. Saturday with the MIAA Fall Final Second Round.

Freshman Trevor Benoit leads the Bulldogs with a 76 for the first 18 holes and a tie for ninth place overall, followed by junior Brett McGugan (78, T-20th), senior Nolan Duda (78, T-20th), junior Hayden Winch (79, T-27th) and sophomore Jackson Tellerico (84, T-39th). In addition, freshman Jack Johnson entered as an individual and is in a tie for 20th place with a 78 out of 47 competitors.

Adrian is in sixth place heading into the final 18 holes tomorrow.
