ACHA Gold Dominates University of Michigan Flint 8-2

ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian ACHA Gold men's squad ran their unbeaten streak to four games on Thursday night when they downed the University of Michigan-Flint 8-2 at Arrington Ice Arena.

The Bulldogs seized control of the contest early with 6 unanswered goals before the Wolverines could get on the scoreboard in the third period.

Adrian's Jack Clary scored a pair of goals for the Bulldogs, while singletons were added by Daniel Hudson, Nick Bordeaux, Nick Hocker, Garin Hohl, Eddie Schaeffer and Scott Mattern.

Adrian got off to a fast start with goals from Hudson and Bordeaux in the first period to lead 2-0. The second period was all Bulldogs as they produced a four goal uprising with goals from Hocker, Hohl, Clary and Schaeffer.

The Wolverines would play the Bulldogs even in the third, scoring a pair of goals off the sticks of Derek Dodge and Austin Hill, but the Bulldogs would counter with Clary's second goal of the night and then Mattern would close the scoring with his third of the season.

Adrian's junior goaltender Justin Lindgren made 10 saves and allowed no goals until giving way to Kyle Federkins early in the third period. Frederkins made 7 stops the rest of the way.
