NCHA release

WAUKESHA, Wis.--The 2017 Peters Cup Adrian College Bulldogs landed a league-landing four student-athletes on the All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association team, which was released on Tuesday. Sophomore forwards Trevor Boyd (Muskegon, Mich./Austin Bruins, NAHL), Bryan Yim (Farmington, Mich./New Jersey Hitmen, USPHL), sophomore Cory Dunn (Trenton, Mich./Austin Bruins, NAHL) on defense, and sophomore goalie Kevin Entmaa (Milton, Ontario/Caledonia Corvairs, GOJHL) were honored on the list.

In addition, forward Vincent Paquette (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Mustangs, AJHL) hauled in 2017 NCHA Freshman of the Year accolades as he becomes the third Bulldog in as many years to do so. Defenseman Joey Colatarci (Estero, Fla./Summerside Capitals, MHL) joins Paquette on the league's all-freshmen squad.

Dunn repeats his All-NCHA status he earned as a freshman, recording career highs in goals (8), power-play goals (7), assists (26) and total points (34). He paces NCAA all-Divisions with 34 points among defensemen, which also tops NCHA overall scoring. In conference games only, the finance major has compiled scoring totals of 8+20=28 in 20 contests.

Boyd, too, has enjoyed a career year so far that includes 16 assists and 31 points. He has tallied 15 goals, which is one shy of his 2016 freshman total. The finance major has shined in the NCHA circuit with 14 goals and 14 assists for 28 points in 20 conference outings--tying Dunn atop the offensive leaderboard.

Entmaa, who is a sports management major, has compiled a 13-5-2 record overall, 2.15 goals-against average and .915 save percentage. And the 2016 NCHA All-Freshman selection has been even better during the conference schedule with a 12-3 mark and 1.81 GAA (ranked second) while stopping 92.6 percent (third) of the shots faced.

Yim, also a member of the conference all-freshman team a year ago, has produced 13 goals, 14 assists and 27 points totals this winter. His 13 goals tie a personal record. The physics and engineering major has 25 points (11g, 14a) in 19 NCHA games. He leads the Bulldogs with nine "impact" goals--five on the power-play, two shorthanded and two game-winners.

A business major, Paquette leads NCHA freshmen in point-scoring (29), goals (14) and assists (15). Nationally, he ranks 11th in NCAA Division III in total points. In NCHA games only, he owns scoring totals of 11+12=23.

Colatarci has registered 11 of his 12 total points on the season during NCHA competition. Both of his two goals have come with Adrian on the power play. He is undecided on a major.
