BLOOMINGTON, Minn.--Adrian College men's hockey standout defenseman Cory Dunn (Trenton, Mich./Austin Bruins, NAHL) has been tabbed to the D3hockey.com Team of the Week, which was released on Wednesday. This marks Dunn's second national weekly award this season (Nov 30, 2016) and he has been named to the D3hockey.com TOW six times in his career.

Dunn led Adrian blueliners with four points as the Bulldogs swept St. Scholastica at home, 6-2 and 4-2. In Friday's opener, he had two assists to help Adrian capture the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association Peters Cup as regular season champions for the first time on home ice and third year in a row. In Saturday's regular season finale, he had a goal and an assist (assisting on the GWG) in a two-goal win.

On Tuesday, Dunn repeated his All-NCHA status he earned as a freshman, recording career highs in goals (8), power-play goals (7), assists (26) and total points (34). He paces NCAA all-Divisions with 34 points among defensemen, which also tops NCHA overall scoring.

Adrian is set to host the Marian/Lake Forest winner (those teams meet tonight) in the NCHA Harris Cup Semifinals at Arrington Ice Arena at 2 p.m. Saturday. Adrian is the two-time defending conference tournament champion.

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 3 in the second NCAA Division III West Region rankings, slotted as high as fourth in the national rankings by D3hockey.com (No. 5 in USCHO.com), and are 18-5-2 overall and 17-3 in the NCHA South with 34 points--first in the overall league standings and rewarded with No. 1 seed in the Harris Cup.

Tickets for reserved seats went on sale Sunday online at Etix.com. General admission will go on sale in the Arrington lobby at 12:30 p.m. on the day of the game. The cost for reserved seat is $10 per person, general admission (standing room) is $5 per person, Senior (over 60)/Youth (under 12) $5 per person, and students are free with Adrian College ID cards.

This season, the Harris Cup is single elimination in each round.
