ADRIAN, Mich.--Junior Dino Balsamo led all student-athletes with four points and seniors Cory Dunn, Braden Hellems, Connor Armour added three apiece to pace the Adrian men's hockey team to another convincing non-conference victory over nationally-ranked Salve Regina, 6-3, on Saturday. After a 2-0 win on Friday, the Bulldogs complete the weekend sweep of the visiting Seahawks in this top-10 matchup of nationally-ranked opponents.

HOW IT HAPPENED
= Adrian jumped out to a 2-0 lead after the first period as Hellems and Balsamo potted power play tallies.
= Schmidbauer snapped SRU's scoreless streak in Adrian at 85 minutes and 1 second when he cut the deficit to 2-1 with a power-play marker at 5:01 into the second period.
= However, the Bulldogs countered with two goals for a 4-1 lead after 40 minutes. Boyd and Balsamo scored 2:40 apart beginning at the 17:12 mark in the second.
= Hellems added an insurance goal with Adrian on the power play for a commanding 5-1 lead at 5:34 in the third.
= About 5 minutes later, Renda and Erik Udahl scored 34 seconds apart to give the Seahawks some hope trailing 5-3.
= For over 3 minutes late in the game, SRU pulled the goalie in favor of an extra attacker but the Bulldogs' defense held the 'Hawks at bay.
= Adrian was 3-for-9 officially on the man-advantage, and Salve was 2-for-8.
