ADRIAN, Mich. - A fast start with an offensive outburst in the first period led the Bulldogs to another MLC victory over Hanover, 11-4. Adrian outscored Hanover 6-0 in the first period, allowing the Panthers only two shots on goal in the period as the Bulldogs improve to 7-1 (3-0 MLC).
Juniors John Hudzinski and Coady Adamson both scored two goals in the first period, while senior David Monroe added one goal and two assists. The Bulldogs made it easy on sophomore goalie Kevin Lerg, who saved two shots before being replaced by Matthew Neal, 17 minutes into the contest.
The Bulldogs had a huge advantage in shots on the game, outshooting the Panthers 41-19. Adrian also had a leg up in ground balls, winning that battle 48-11. Adrian also won 14-of-18 face offs.
The next game for Adrian will be on April 4, as the Bulldogs will play host to MLC opponent Albion, which sits at 4-4 (0-1 MLC). The game is scheduled to start at 4:00 pm from the Performance Stadium.
