Bulldogs Win Makes it 13 Straight

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - T.J. Cook scored five goals and David Monroe added three goals and six assists as the Bulldogs won its 13th straight victory in a 16-6 win over Fontbonne. The Bulldogs led 9-5 at halftime, then pulled away outscoring the Griffins 7-1 in the second half.

The Bulldogs won the game on faceoffs, going 18-for-25 on the day. Adrian got a lot of ground balls from Mitch Barnard and Nicholas Frontczak, as Barnard scooped up 12 and Frontczak got to eight.

Sophomore Kevin Lerg had a solid effort in the nets for Adrian, as the defense allowed only ten shots on goal for the game. Lerg finished the game with four saves.

Tyler Tanguay, Cody Kilcoyne, and Coady Adamson all added two goals for Adrian, as the Bulldogs now have scored over ten goals in five straight games.

Adrian now has one game left on the season before the MLC tournament. The 14-1 (9-0 MLC) Bulldogs will host Otterbein on Friday at 5:00 p.m. for the home season finale.
