NAPERVILLE, Ill. – Concordia-Wisconsin's Danny Dahms and Adrian's Brandon MacDonald were named the Midwest Lacrosse Conference Players of the Week Monday.
Dahms, a sophomore midfielder from Calgary, Alberta (Business major), finished with eight goals, three assists, six ground balls and four caused turnovers as the Falcons went 2-0 in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference last week. He finished with five goals, one assist, four ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 10-6 win over Carthage on April 19. He followed that up with three goals, two assists, two ground balls and one caused turnover in an 8-6 win over Augustana on April 21.
MacDonald, a junior defender from Midhurst, Ontario, and Eastview Secondary School (Business major), had seven ground balls and seven caused turnovers for the Bulldogs last week with wins over Fontbonne and Trine. Adrian finished 9-0 in conference play and won the Midwest Lacrosse Conference regular season title. He had four ground balls and four caused turnovers in a 16-6 win over Fontbonne on April 21, along with three ground balls and three caused turnovers in a 10-3 win over Trine on April 18.
