ADRIAN, Mich. - Coady Adamson and Tyler Tanguay are the latest Bulldog Lacrosse players to scoop up some honors. The junior Adamson earned Honorable Mention All-American while the senior Tanguay will be playing in the USILA/LAXWORLD 2012 D-III North/South All-Star Game today.
Adamson was the lone Bulldog named to the LaxPower All-American team after an impressive junior season. The midfielder from Bowmanville, Ont. (St. Stephens) was second on the team in points, goals, and assists. Adamson scored 64 points from 43 goals and 21 assists. Adamson also caused eight turnovers and grabbed 14 ground balls.
The senior Tanguay will be one of just two players from Michigan featured in the D-III North/South All-Star Game. The midfielder from Port Colborne, Ont. (Lakeshore Catholic) missed five of the 19 games this season but still managed to light up the scoreboard, scoring 13 goals and adding 14 assists.
The North/South game will be today at 3:00 p.m. from Harvard Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts.
