ADRIAN, Mich.  – The Adrian men's lacrosse team has been chosen as the preseason favorite to win the first men's lacrosse championship in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association as the team prepares for the 2013 season with two home exhibition "Pink Games" in support of breast cancer on Saturday Feb. 16th at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. against the College of Wooster and Lake Erie College, respectively.

The Bulldogs received six of a possible seven first-place votes in the preseason poll of MIAA coaches. Albion was picked to finish second, while Trine, which received the other first-place vote, was selected third. Coaches could not vote for their own teams.

 

Adrian won the Midwest Lacrosse Conference last year with a perfect 9-0 conference record and finished 17-2 overall. This year marks the first season the MIAA is sponsoring men's and women's lacrosse as conference sports.
