ADRIAN, Mich. – The men's lacrosse team (5-2) extended their win streak to three with a win over visiting Carthage College (5-2), 15-13, Wednesday night at Performance Stadium.

Carthage made a nice rally in the fourth quarter, but Adrian had built such a substantial lead entering the final quarter that their lead was just too difficult to overcome.

Cody Kilcoyne registered nine points to lead Adrian. His six-goal performance raised his goal total to 21 on the season. Overall, all of Kilcoyne's shots on net went in except for one.

John Hudzinski, Mitch Burgin, and Tom Thielman added a pair of goals each, while Jeff Ulfig, Drake Dailey-Chwalibog, and Nathan Carroll scored single tallies in the win.

MIAA defensive Player of the Week Kevin Lerg registered 12 saves on the night and out-performed his counterpart as Carthage outshot Adrian, 25-21.

Leading the groundball attack for Adrian was Jeff Ulfig and Nicholas Frontczak with six apiece, while Brandon MacDonald had three to account for 75 percent of the team's groundball production. Frontczak also caused three turnovers.

The Bulldogs will start a three-game road excursion Saturday when they visit Otterbein for a 2 p.m. start. It will be the team's final tune-up before conference play begins at Calvin on April 6.
