MacDonald Named to North/South All-Star Game

ADRIAN, Mich.  - Senior Brandon MacDonald (Midhurst, Ont.) was selected for the South Team at the 72nd Annual USILA/LAXWorld North-South Senior Division III Lacrosse game, USILA announced Tuesday.

The game will be played at the Edith Robb Dixon Field on the campus of Cabrini College in Radnor, Pa., on Friday, May 24, 2013. 

The South team will be led by head coach Gene Peluso of Stevens with assistant coaches Matt Madalon, Eric Koch and Daniel Leidl also of Stevens.

The Division III game will be played at 3 p.m. followed by the Division I/II game at 5:30 pm. Tickets may be purchased game day on site.

MacDonald was named Most Valuable Defensive Player in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) this season and was also a First Team All-Midwest Lacrosse Conference selection in 2011 and 2012. MacDonald played in 66 career games for the Bulldogs. He finished first all-time with 74 caused turnovers and in career games. MacDonald also ranks second in career groundballs (218). He had 44 groundballs and 17 caused turnovers as a senior.
