MEQUON, Wis. - The men's soccer team failed to find the back of the net for the first time this season falling to 1-2-1 overall with a 2-0 defeat at Concordia (Wis.) University on Sunday afternoon (Sept. 11).
The Bulldogs managed seven total shots with three shots making it on net. Daniel Boklewski made all three saves in net for the Falcons who improved to 3-2.
Wyatt Johnson, Jamie Brower and Ryan McCarthy each recorded a shot on goal for the Bulldogs. Adrian recorded the first shot on goal in the 18th minute by Johnson. Brower's shot on goal came in the 27th minute. The Bulldogs also had just one shot on goal in the second half coming from McCarthy 26 seconds into the half.
Concordia's goals came 2:58 apart with Zach Lemler scoring with 40 seconds left in the first half. Michael McCrone made it 2-0 with 2:18 elapsed in the second half. James Ruby made five saves for the Bulldogs. Adrian is averaging 1.0 goals per game so far this season and have played three of their first four games on the road.
