KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The men's soccer team has figured a few things out in the last couple of contests and have won three of their last four matches with a 2-1 win at Kalamazoo College on Saturday (Oct. 15). The play of Mitch Aguilera has also been big as of late as the sophomore scored a pair of goals in the narrow victory.
After a scoreless first half, Aguilera got Adrian on the board 1-0 just 1:07 into the half with a goal assisted by Ryan McCarthy. Rory Landis notched an unassisted goal at 72:19 to tie the game at 1-1. Aguilera then got the game-winner at 74:23 from Jamie Brower to send the Bulldogs home happy.
Adrian made the most of their opportunities with two shots on goal both crossing the goal line. Kalamazoo also had two shots on goals in windy conditions as Zach Zeka made one save and improved to 3-1 in net this season.
