North Central Clips Bulldogs, 2-1

NAPERVILLE, Ill. - The Adrian College men's soccer team finished their road weekend trip on Saturday night with a 2-1 loss at North Central College. The Cardinals improved to 3-1 with the win and Adrian now sits at 1-2-1 overall.

North Central held a 20-10 advantage in total shots including a 10-5 split in each half. The Cardinals had nine shots on goal while the Bulldogs had four. Niko Giantsopoulous and Lino Taormina each played in net. Giantsopoulous got the start and played during the first half making two saves. Taormina finished the match with five saves.

Michael Lenzi scored his first goal of the season at 5:53 off a corner kick. Charlie Stanke notched his second goal of the season at 46:24 just into the second half. Ricardo Serrano assisted on both goals for North Central.

Jakub Kanicki scored his first goal as a Bulldog at 77:36 with Matt Davis on the assist. The Bulldogs had one more shot on goal for the conclusion of the match by Ryan McCarthy at the 88:25 mark.
