Bulldogs End Season with Road Loss to Alma

ALMA, Mich.  – The Adrian College men's soccer team finished their season Saturday afternoon as they travelled to take on the Alma College Scots. The Bulldogs fell behind early and could not recover as Alma would take a 3-0 decision over Adrian. This ends the overall record for Adrian at 4-14-1 with a 1-12-1 mark in the MIAA.

The Bulldogs fell behind early after the Scots took the 1-0 lead in the fourth minute. Alma would carry this lead to the break after they fought off eight shots from the Bulldogs. Adrian then looked to battle back into the game in the second half but the Scots added to their lead before the Bulldogs could beat the Alma defense. The Scots scored in the 46th and 60th minutes to put Adrian behind, 3-0. The Bulldogs would fire two more shots on Alma but they could not beat the Scots defense as Nick Marsh led the Adrian attack with three shots with one on goal.

Lino Taormina made the start in goal for Adrian as he played 73:24 minutes while making six saves. James Ruby saw 16:36 minutes in goal as he made one save.
