Anderson, Ind. - The Adrian College men's soccer team emerge from their match against Anderson University with a 2 - 2 draw. The Bulldogs were led in the match by sophomore Ryan Kissel, who scored the first of the team's two goals.
Adrian started the game strong, finding the net twice in the first half. Kissel scored the first goal in the fifteenth minute on one of his four shots that he amassed during the game. Freshman Brandon Katona scored the second bulldog goal with five minutes left in the first half. Katona also had an overall strong game finishing with three shots total with two of them coming on goal.
The lead would not last however as Anderson junior Trent Barnhart exploded in the second half scoring two goals on 12 shots.
Two overtimes wasn't enough to break the deadlock and the game would end in a tie.
The Bulldogs will look to improve on thier performance on Saturday September 12 as the travel to Manchester University. The maych is scheduled to start at 3 p.m.
