KALAMAZOO, Mich. – The Adrian College men's soccer team fell to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) foe Kalamazoo 7-0. Adrian's Sean Cain led the Bulldogs offensively with one shot on goal for the match.
Kalamazoo (7-4-1, 6-2) jumped to an early 2-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the game and would not look back. They finished the first half with a 5-0 lead. The Bulldogs (4-7-2, 3-4-1) would only surrender two goals in the second half making the final score 7-0 in favor of Kalamazoo.
The loss keeps Adrian one spot below Kalamazoo in the MIAA standings at number four.
The Bulldogs will look to bounce back Saturday October 10 when they travel to Albion, Mich., to take on the Britons of Albion. Match is set to start at 12:00 p.m.
