KALAMAZOO, Mich. - The Adrian College men's soccer team blanked Kalamazoo 3-0 on the road in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action on Tuesday night. The shutout is the Bulldogs second straight and fourth of the season.

First Half: Kalamazoo 0, Adrian 1
• Brandon Katona struck first for the Bulldogs, scoring his fourth goal of the season when he shook the net in the 14th minute of the match.
• Kalamazoo edged Adrian in shooting in the first half, 9-6.
Second Half: Kalamazoo 0, Adrian 3
• Garret Miller set up Zach Combs in the first two minutes of the second half to double the Bulldog lead.
• Tad Davis was assisted by Sean Cain for the final goal of the game in the 82nd minute.
TOP DOGS
• Katona, Combs and Davis all scored one goal for Adrian.
• Miller and Cain had the game's only assists.
• Davis had a game-high four shots on goal. Katona tallied two shots on goal. Nick Watkins, Kyle Boggs, Cain and Combs each had one shot on goal.
• Spencer Brown (W, 5-4-0) saved all five shots he faced to earn his fourth clean sheet of the season.
THE OPPOSITION
• Joshua Robison and Roger Mason Darling both had a team-high two shots on goal. Brendan Groggel tallied one shot on goal.
• Hornet goalkeeper Griffin Hamel (L, 1-3-4) saved eight of the 11 shots he faced.
