ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College men's soccer 2016 schedule includes the Marietta College Classic, eight home dates and a round-robin Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association slate.
The Bulldogs will officially open their 37th season on Thursday, Sep. 1, when they host non-MIAA foe Bluffton College--one of eight contests at Docking Stadium.
On Sunday, Sep. 4, Adrian travels to Muskingum University to embark on a season-long five-match road swing. The Bulldogs return to Ohio the following weekend for the Marietta College Classic against the host Pioneers (Sep. 10) and Denison University (Sep. 11). That signals the end of the non-conference docket.
The road swing continues on Tuesday, Sep. 13, at Calvin College, the defending MIAA champions and NCAA Division III national semifinalists. Adrian closes with a trip to MIAA rival Trine University on Saturday, Sep. 17.
The Bulldogs' MIAA home opener will be on Wednesday, Sep. 21, against Albion College, followed three days later hosting Hope College.
Adrian wraps up the month of September with a road date at Kalamazoo College on Tuesday the 27th.
After playing six of their first nine contests on the road, the Bulldogs' schedule the rest of the regular season sees them playing in front of the home crowd. October begins with a road match at Olivet College on Saturday the 1st before entertaining Alma (Oct. 5), Calvin (Oct. 8) and Trine (Oct. 11).
After a brief stint back on the road at Albion and Hope on Oct. 15 and 19, respectively, the Bulldogs have home matches versus Kalamazoo and Olivet on Oct. 22 and 25, respectively.
Adrian wraps up the regular season on Saturday, Oct. 29, at Alma College.
