HOW IT HAPPENED

Adrian opened up the scoring early as Elliot Hughes found the back of the goal just over three minutes into the contest, scored as Brad Squires dished the ball to him off a Dylan Mines throw in. The Bulldogs would strike again, this time off the foot of Fadi Sobh. His first-career goal was assisted by Grant Perrine inside the 30th minute. The hosts would go on to answer Sobh's tally with one of their own, just nine minutes later.

The Bulldogs closed out the opening half with two goals, one of which proved to be the game-winner with less than four minutes remaining on the clock. The deal-sealer was accredited to freshman Dylan Wismont, who scored by heading the ball past the Grizzlies' goalie. Mines earned the assist on Wismont's first-collegiate score. The final goal of the stanza was notched by Perrine, unassisted, inside the last 60 seconds.

The second half began much like the first, with the Bulldogs scoring inside the first 10 minutes, this time with Macgregor Adams penning his name on the stat sheet with a header goal off a Perrine corner kick. The Grizzlies took 30 minutes to respond with a goal of their own.

Wismont posted the last tally of the day with less than three minutes left on the game clock, the result of a pass sequence between Brendan Koziol and Francesco Cusumano along the far sideline. Kozoil then placed  it in front of the net for a waiting Wismont.

Spencer Brown faced five shots on-goal, making three saves during his 90 minutes in goal.
