Perrine Claims First MIAA Offensive Player of the Week Honor of Season

FREELAND, Mich. – Adrian College's Grant Perrine – of the men's soccer team – was selected as the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's (MIAA) Offensive Player of the Week for the week ending Sept. 1.

Perrine helped to power the Bulldogs' 6-2 win at Franklin, collecting a team-best four points in the process. The Midfielder assisted on teammate Fadi Sobh's first-collegiate goal, before notching his own tally later. His score was the team's insurance tally, which proved to be the only unassisted goal of the day. The sophomore finished his impressive outing, helping MacGregor Adams to tally a goal of his own.

The Bulldogs remain on the road as they travel to Wilmington (Ohio) to take part in the Kiwanis Classic, set to start on Friday Sept. 6. Adrian will face off with the Quakers in the opening round at 3 p.m.
