MIAA Releases Women's Basketball Preseason Poll

FREELAND, Mich.  – The Adrian College women's basketball team has been picked to finish fifth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association for the 2014-15 season.

Adrian won five of its last seven regular-season games last season to edge out Kalamazoo for the fourth and final spot in the MIAA tournament. Kathy Morris, the dean of MIAA women's basketball coaches, is back for her 23rd season with the Bulldogs, who finished 13-12 a year ago.

The Bulldogs will begin their 2014-15 campaign on November 15 when they travel to take on Wooster in the Nan Nichols Classic at 3 p.m. The Bulldogs home opener is on November 22 when they host Ohio Northern at 3 p.m. Adrian will begin competition in the MIAA on December 3 when they travel to take on Hope at 7:30 p.m.
