In the Singles portion, senior Brittney Antonelli had a good finish coming in 51st place out of 121 bowers. She threw 1,067 for six games and averaged 177.83.
Each member of the team bowled six games and the top five bowlers in each division qualified for nationals.
The Bulldogs' performance was up and down on the first day of the tournament. After 16 games they went from 15th to eighth, but after 32 games the team fell to 11th-place after day one. Adrian was able to come together and bowl better the second day by moving up from 11th to ninth-place after 64 baker games.
"The girls had an up and down weekend which happens sometimes, but we are a lot better than this," Adrian head coach John Essenmacher III said. "The team needs to fill more frames and be more consistent coming up for club collegiate nationals if we want to repeat (as national champions)."
Webber International was first in the team standings with 12,647 pins.
Adrian will be idle unti next month when it defends its Collegiate Club Championship title on Saturday and Sunday, April 8-9, at All-Star Bowl Indianapolis, Ind.
