Women's Golf Finishes Runner-Up at Own Adrian College Spring Invitational

ADRIAN, Mich.--The Adrian College women's golf team finished in second place out of six teams with a 359 at its own AC Bulldogs Spring Invitational held at the Lenawee Country Club on Thursday. More details to come later...

Junior Brooke Symons led a trio of Bulldogs on the top-10 individual leaderboard with an 85, which was tied for fourth out of 36 golfers. Freshman Lauren Yankee, who was tied for seventh, and sophomore Hailey Scott, who was 10th, also finished in the top-10 with an 88 and 90, respectively. Sophomore Hannah McKee (96, T-21st) and freshman Alexis Weston (99, 23rd) rounded out the AC lineup.

In addition, senior Libby Dusenbery (101, T-26th) and freshman Audrey Jutis (113, 32nd) competed for Adrian as individuals.

Dakota Spears of team champion Siena Heights University "A" was the medalist with a 78. The Saints outdistanced Adrian and the rest of the Invitational field with a 336.

Adrian will have its season finale on Saturday at the Olivet College Spring Invitational in Marshall at the Marshall Country Club, starting at 11 a.m.
