ADRIAN, Mich. - Olivia Duncan found the net five times while Amanda Lambert and Stacey Birlson added three goals each in the Bulldogs 20-4 victory over Concordia (Wis.) at Performance Stadium. Adrian never trailed in the game, scoring the first five goals as the Bulldogs improve to 14-2 (6-0 MWLC) on the season.
Birlson started the scoring on the day, netting the first two goals in the first 3:05 of the game. Between the 17:48 mark until the 6:23 mark in the first, the Bulldogs rattled off six consecutive goals as Adrian went into the half leading 14-4.
Goalie Laura Finfrock saved three first half shots before being replace by Jul Tehovnik at halftime. The defense for Adrian made it easy on Tehovnik, as the Falcons did not have a single shot attempt in the second half.
In total, 11 different Bulldogs scored the 20 goals on the day, with 16 of these shots being assisted by eight different players.
Adrian had a 34-8 advantage on ground balls for the game, with Lambert scooping up 10 and Kate Ravenhall getting to five.
The Bulldogs have one final regular season game before the MWLC tournament starts during the first week of May. Adrian will host North Central (Ill.) on Saturday, April 28th for the home finale. The Cardinals currently sit at second in the MWLC behind Adrian, with a record of 6-7 (4-1 MWLC).
