AURORA, IL. – The women's lacrosse team (6-1) extended its win streak to three games with a dismantling of Aurora University (0-5), 14-0, Sunday afternoon at Vago Field.

Adrian took just 22 seconds to score what would end up being the game-winning goal. The Bulldogs poured it on in the first half and built an 11-0 lead.

Olivia Duncan scored five times giving her 29 goals on the season and Maddie Dugan had three goals to lead the Bulldogs.

Stacey Birlson, Laurel Van't Hof, Heather Newblom, Cassie Hoyez, TaShina Salas, and Nichole Laflamme all added single tallies for Adrian.

Birlson led the team in assists with four, while Salas led in groundballs with seven.

Overall, Adrian held the edge in groundballs, 31-16. Adrian goalkeeper Maddie McDonald registered the shutout.

The women's lacrosse team will return home for a game Saturday, March 23rd against Denison at 5 p.m.
