ADRIAN, Mich. – Adrian College's Ali Alamdari, in his 12th season as the Bulldogs head coach, has announced the 2019 schedule for the women's soccer team.
A squad that saw its first-ever Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) postseason title and NCAA tournament while posting an impressive 14-6-1 record, looks to kick off the season with an exhibition contest at Ferris State beginning at 1 p.m. on August 25.
The Bulldogs' regular season slate will kick off with a road match at Finlandia on August 30 at 7 p.m., with their first home contest taking place on September 1 as they host Wooster for a 12 p.m. matchup.
September brings nine out-of-conference contests, including a Homecoming faceoff with Michigan-Dearborn at 11 a.m. on the 21st. AC will travel to Kenyon, Denison, Capital and Transylvania while hosting Siena Heights, Heidelberg and Case Western Reserve over the course of the month.
Conference play will commence at the beginning of October, featuring eight conference contests and just one non-conference matchup. The first day of the month features a 4 p.m. home turf game with Olivet. The squad will then take on Alma, Calvin and Kalamazoo before taking a brief break from MIAA-play as it travels to North Park on October 13.
Returning to conference play, the Bulldogs with travel to Hope, a national powerhouse, on the 19th.
The regular season rounds out with three other conference contests, the final of which will take place in Docking Stadium as the Bulldogs host Albion for a 7 p.m. contest on the 29th.
First round games of the MIAA conference tournament are set to take place on November 2.
