CHICAGO, Ill. – The Adrian College women's soccer team had a dominating win over North Park University in its final out of conference game of the regular season.

The Bulldogs saw their first real scoring opportunity in the 11th minute, as Cassidy Conner was gifted a penalty kick. Her shot was saved, as the score remained tied at zero.

Seven minutes later Molly Safreed recorded what would be the eventual game-winner, as she cleaned up on an AC rebound for her unassisted tally.

Senior captain Caroline Fleming posted her 12th goal of the season, aided by Angela Davis for the squad's insurance tally at 22:12. It took just six minutes before the Bulldogs struck again, as Eve Davis posted her first-of-two goals, assisted by Safreed.

Makenna Mascaro penned her name onto the stat sheet at Raquel Church helped her to post a tally at 31:07. Church posted a goal of her own with less than eight minutes remaining in the half, with Mascaro and Zoe Blanchard recording the assists.

E. Davis scored her second goal of the evening in the 53rd minute, as Mascaro earned her second assist to make the score 6-0 in favor of Adrian. Alexandria Dryps recorded her first-career goal 12 minutes later, as Sabrina Weir collected the assist.

McKenna Mahoney pushed the Bulldogs' lead to eight as she posted a goal with 21 minutes remaining in the contest. Mahoney was assisted by Mascaro, for her team-leading third assist of the day.

Conner got her revenge at 79:30, recording her first-career goal, assisted by Dryps. Conner's tally was the last of the contest.

Kristen Page earned the shutout, playing in all 90 minutes while making three saves to record her second shutout of the season.


  • With this evenings' performance, Caroline Fleming is now ranked third in program history in total points (99, 33 this season), fourth in goals scored (35, 12 this season) and assists (29, 9 this season). 

  • With a team-best five points was Makenna Mascaro, on one goal and three assists. Eve Davis trailed by one point, with two goals.

  • With the game-winning goal and an assist was Molly Safreed.

  • Goalkeeper Kristen Page, who earned the shutout, making three saves.

  • Notably, Alexandria Dryps and Cassidy Conner who both posted their first-career goals.


The Bulldogs continue their four-game road trip, this time heading to Hope for a 12 p.m. MIAA contest on Saturday.
