ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College women's soccer team will partake in its second NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament in program history, facing off with Wisconsin-Stevens Point at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Records: Adrian has collected a 16-4-2 record, going 7-1 in conference play, en route to MIAA Regular Season and Championship titles. Wis.-Stevens Point is 11-4-3 on the season, 5-2-0 in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Ticket Information: Ticket prices are $7 for general admission and $5 per game for senior citizens (65+), students with ID and children 3-17. Children 3 and under are free. Re-entry permitted by purchasing another ticket. Per NCAA rules, no complimentary passes accepted. The front gates will open 1 hour prior to the start of the game.

Road to St. Louis:
AC, currently on a five-game win streak, earned its second-consecutive berth into the NCAA after taking down Kalamazoo 4-1 in the conference championship. Freshman Eve Davis led the offensive efforts, scoring the first two goals of the game, which included the game-winner in the 18th minute. MIAA Most Valuable Player Caroline Fleming tied for the team-lead in points with 2 assists and one goal. Also collecting points were Megan Louwers with a goal, Brooke Teska and Angela Davis on an assists.
Throughout the season Adrian saw two other teams that have made the tournament. It first battled with Wooster, with whom it tied 2-2 in double-overtime affair on Sept. 1 and fell in the second overtime period with Case Western Reserve University 3-2 on Sept. 15.
UWSP was just 1-of-21 teams to earn an at large bid the field of 64 teams to make the tournament this season, collecting Pool C's at large bid. Its hopes of earning the WIAC's automatic bid were dashed, after it falling in penalty kicks with against UW-La Crosse (1-1 2OT). Senior Maddy Hardyman had the team's lone goal, helped along by underclassman Kati Frierdich, who leads the team in points with 16.
Coach Ali Alamdari-: Alamdari is a 2001 graduate of Western Michigan. Over the course of his 12 seasons as the head coach at Adrian he has compiled a 137-78-28 record, 86-53-15 in conference, coaching 5 MIAA MVPs (3 athletes) and one All-American.
Adrian Highlighted in NCAA National Statistical Rankings: Adrian currently ranks fourth in the division in assists (65) and points (207), while ranking fifth in assists per game (2.95). It also ranks 10th in goals (71). Caroline Fleming ranks ninth in assists (14) and 13th in assists per game (.64).
Honors: Adrian had five athletes named All-Conference, Caroline Fleming, the conference MVP, Ayverie Giller, Megan Louwers and Sarah Brannan were all named first team honorees while Angela Davis earned a place on the second team.
Adrian in the NCAA: In their first-ever NCAA appearance, the Bulldogs fell 1-0 in double overtime against Loras College to closeout a stellar 2018 season.
UW-Stevens Point in the NCAA: This is the Pointers first time making it to the NCAA tournament since 2010, their 16th overall, when it fell in the third round to Denison in penalty kicks, 1-1 (4-5 PKs). En route to the third round, they took down Macalester College 4-2 then Concordia-Moorhead 1-0.
Next Up: The winners of Saturday's contests will faceoff on Sunday at 1 p.m. in the second round.
