NOTRE DAME, Ind. - The Adrian College softball team earned its first conference win on Tuesday with a 6-5 win on the road against St. Mary's. The second game was stopped in the fifth inning due to darkness. The teams will continue the game tomorrow.

ADRIAN HITTING
• Jessica Sarch (2-for-4), Casey Cribbs (2-for-4) and K'ya Toles-Burton (2-for-3) led the team with two hits each
• Cribbs and Toles-Burton each hit one home run
• Cribbs also had a team high two RBIs
• Karissa DeVore, Toles-Burton and Taylor Van't Land all had one RBI
ADRIAN PITCHING
• Kelsey Meyer started in the circle for the Bulldogs
• She faced 25 batters and surrendered seven hits, four earned runs and one home run
• Meyer recorded two strike outs in 5.0 innings pitched and picked up the win improving her record to 4-5
• Payge Reed picked up her first save of the season, striking out the final batter of the game
ST. MARY'S HITTING
• Makenzie Duncan (2-for-4) and Cassie Young (2-for-3) led the Belles with two hits (Young had the only home run for St. Mary's)
• Young had a game high three RBIs
• Caitlyn Migawa (1-for-3) had the other two RBIs for the Belles
ST. MARY'S PITCHING
• Sarah Burke started at pitcher for St. Mary's
• She faced 20 batters, surrendering six hits, five earned runs and two home runs, striking out four batters in her third loss of the season (4-3)
• Mary Green faced 11 batters, giving up two hits and one run in 3.0 innings relief
