Ashley Marinacci is entering her fifth season as the head coach for the Adrian College softball program in 2020.

The team has improved each year under Marinacci, finishing 19-19 in 2019, including a six-game winning streak, the program's longest since the 2015 season.

AT ADRIAN

• Coached Paige Cubberly to Second Team All-MIAA

• Coached Second Team All-MIAA selection K’ya Toles-Burton and CoSIDA Academic All-District selection Rebecca Greco during the 2016 season.

PRIOR TO ADRIAN

• Was the assistant coach at St. Catherine College where she helped the team to the best postseason run and mentored two Mid-South Conference First Team and three Mid-South Second Team selections in her one season at the NAIA institution.

• Began coaching career at Washington & Jefferson College (Pa.) serving as the first assistant and was the primary pitching and outfield instructor as well as coaching first base.

• Coached at her alma mater, Bethany College (W.Va.), as a graduate assistant coaching beginning in 2011. She helped lead over a dozen players receive all-conference accolades as well as one All-America selection.

• As a student-athlete, Marinacci was named all-conference all four years and finished her career in the top ten rankings of several school records, most notably number one in single season assists.

• Earned a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Bethany College and a Master of Science degree in sports management from California University (Pa.) as well as a Master of Arts in teaching from Bethany College.
