ANGOLA, Ind. – The Adrian College women's volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision by the scores of 25-12, 23-25, 25-20, 25-15 to Trine University on Wednesday night (Oct. 12). The match was held in conjunction with Dig for the Cure Night. The Lady Bulldogs drop to 4-18 overall and 3-8 in the MIAA, while the Thunder improves to 12-10 overall and 6-5 in conference play.
Down 1-0, Adrian controlled the majority of the second set and won 25-23. Trine regrouped and won the third and fourth set.
Adrian topped Trine on defense with 10 team blocks. Linnea Berriman had a game-high two solo blocks to go along with two block assists.
The 'Dogs are back in action as they travel to Earlham on Saturday (Oct. 15). Match is slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
