Women's Volleyball Volunteers for Habitat for Humanity

ADRIAN, Mich. - Members of the Adrian College women's volleyball team volunteered their time in Onsted, Michigan to help with the deconstruction of a house for the non-profit organization, Habitat for Humanity.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that helps low-income families with affordable housing. They also deconstruct houses that are about to be torn down or remodeled and they use materials from the deconstruction in the construction of a new house.

The AC women spent seven hours under the guidance of Habitat crew leaders pulling out sliding glass doors, sinks, cabinets, piping, and various other items and materials that could be salvaged, sold or reused.
