HOW IT HAPPENED
The Bulldogs trailed for nearly the entirety of the first set, despite leveling the score at 4-4 in the early goings behind several ball handling errors on the Saints and a kill by Alex Tobler. For two of its last three points of the set, AC posted two service aces by Megan Prsa.
Set two followed started out the complete opposite, with Adrian taking a 3-0 lead, with kills by Tobler and Grace Welch and another ace by Prsa. The Bulldogs continued to lead on and off until the score was knotted at 13-13 and the Saints put on a six-point run.
The third set was by far the closest for Adrian, with a final point margin of just three. Behind a seven-point scoring series and two rogue points, the Bulldogs tied the score at 22-22 after trailing by eight at one point. Dominant in the run was Tobler with three kills to offset the four Saints errors. Despite all their efforts, Siena Heights posted the final two three points, setting to bed any ideas of a comeback.

Ranking second offensively was Alex Tobler with her seven kills and a squad-leading 14 kills. She also had one service ace.
