The men's ACHA hockey team was defeated by the Robert Morris Eagles by the score of 3-0 on Friday night at the Arrington Ice Arena.
Robert Morris got out to an early lead when Eriks Ozallapa scored the first goal of the game off an assist from Chad Johnson and Jesper Carlsten. The game remained 1-0 throughout the second period.
The Eagles increased their lead to 2-0 after a score from Adam Lesko. Lesko was assisted on the goal from Nick Mahoney and Andrew Saviola. Robert Morris took the 3-0 advantage off an unassisted goal from Brian Murtha.
The Bulldogs out shot the Eagles 29-23, and Matt Welch recorded 20 saves for the Bulldogs. The men's ACHA team will have a rematch against Robert Morris tomorrow night, Saturday, Oct. 4, at 2:00 p.m.
