BENSONVILLE, Ill. - Chad Bonmon put Adrian ahead on Friday night but it was short lived as Robert Morris University scored the next eight goals by eight different players. Bonmon scored an even strength goal at 5:06 of the first period with an assist from Alex Norman to give the Bullodgs an early one-goal lead. Robert Morris University then went on the attack with three goals to close out the first. Ben Konecheck scored an unassisted goal at 10:48 to tie the game. Stephen Kobert scored the game-winner at 13:28 on a power play and Brian Garvey added a goal 33 seconds later with an assist from Kory DuMond.

RMU added four goals in the second period including two on the power play as Ryan Kumpfmiller and Jacob Javitt scored the power play goals. Jasen Bange ended the scoring with a third-period short-handed goal at 4:49. Tony Wolak made 29 saves and was replaced by Matt Welch in the third period. Welch made eight saves in the final stanza.
