ROCHESTER, Mich. - The #24 Adrian College men's ACHA hockey team dropped a tough 5-2 decision to the defending ACHA Division I national champions from Oakland University on Saturday night.

Trevor Markovich and Jason Knutson both scored power-play goals to lead the Bulldogs. Jared Semple, Donny Swanson, and Mark Wood each had an assist on the night. Wood nearly made it a 4-3 game in the third period when he sent a shot off of the pipe in a tight game.

Matt Welch had 30 saves while suffering the loss in goal for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs return to Arrington Ice Arena tomorrow afternoon for their last home game of the season when they host Oakland University at 5:00 p.m. The Bulldogs are also hosting a "skate with the Bulldogs" event after the game for anyone interested in taking the ice with the team. Admission for the team skate is $5, which includes skate rental.
