Champaign, Ill. - The top-rated squad from the University of Illinois remained undefeated on the season as they defeated the #24 Adrian College ACHA men's hockey team on Friday by an 8-2 score.

Kalon Foss got the Bulldogs on the scoreboard after going top shelf to get the puck past the Illini goalie. Anthony Aukskalnis netted a power-play goal while Mark Wood and Jason Knutson picked up assists on the play.

Ryan Krichiver suffered the loss in goal despite making 24 saves through two periods. Sean McCarthy took over between the pipes in the third period, registering 11 saves in the frame.
