HOLLAND, Mich. - The Adrian College men's golf team finished the fall season with a jamboree event at the Wuskowhan Players Club. The Bulldogs placed eighth in the event with a team score of 320.
Although the final jamboree event did not go as planned, the men's golf team placed fifth in the final seasonal standings this fall. Hope took top honors, followed by a three-way tie between Albion, Calvin and Trine. Olivet, Alma, and Kalamazoo rounded out the standings.
David Sreiberg led the Bulldogs on Wednesday with a score of 73. He shot a 37 on the front nine followed by a 36 on the back. Mike Zakerski shot a 41 on the first nine holes, and improved his score by two shots on the back to finish the jamboree with a score of 80.
Jordan Kelly and Justin Medina shot similar scores for AC. Kelly started with a 39, but slipped to a 45 on the back nine to end with an 84. Medina shot a 40 on the front, and a 43 on the back to end with an 83. Troy Reedy was also in action for Adrian. Reedy shot a 95 (49-46).
