ADRIAN, Mich. – After dispensing of the
University of Michigan-Dearborn on Friday 3-1, the Bulldogs came
back on Saturday and laid in the Wolves 12-2.
Dearborn jumped out to an early lead as they scored only 1:20 in
to the game, as they led 1-0 after the first period. Adrian
wouldn't give in as they score four goals in the second
period, including two on power plays by sophomore Andrew
Amodeo and senior Mike
Yakamovich. The Bulldogs continued to net goals in the third
period as they scored eight times, including the second by freshman
Ryan
Bachman and Yakamovich.
In goal, freshman Jason
Spada stopped 22 shots in the victory.
The ACHA Division 1 team will participate in an ACHA Showcase
that will run from Friday October 8 to Sunday October 10.
