SPRINGFIELD, Ohio – The men's golf team competed at
the Wittenberg Fall Invitational held at Windy Knoll Golf Club over
the past two days and had a very good showing finishing second with
a team score of 594. The Bulldogs finished just one shot behind
Wittenberg, who was ranked 17th nationally at the end of
the spring last year.
Zach Davenport placed second in the tournament with a score of
145 (+3) and finished one stroke behind Ben Adams of Otterbein for
medalist honors.
Tyler Manning tied for sixth with a total of 149.
He shot 75 on Saturday and 74 on Sunday.
David Sreiberg tied for
10
th with a total of 150. He shot 76 and 74 for the two
rounds.
Brad Haley rounded out the team scores with a 152 and tied
for 20
th.
