GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team finished in fourth-place at the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (MIAA) Jamboree #7 today (Oct. 3) at the Watermark Country Club in Grand Rapids.
The Bulldogs had a 315 team score. Hope won the championship with a 309. Trine (Ind.) University was the runner-up at 310, followed by Alma 311.
Leading Adrian was Cameron McKee who had a breakout performance with a 75 (37, 38), tying for third-place. Following McKee with a top-10 finish was Mac Boucher with a seventh-place finish. Boucher shot a 77 with a 37 and a 40.
Karter Clark was next for Adrian with an 81 (39, 42), followed by Brad Haley (39, 43) and Connor Doria (41, 41) who tied for 31st with an 82.
Entering the final jamboree Saturday at the Lenawee Country Club in Adrian, the Bulldogs sit in fourth-place with 2,172 strokes. Hope leads the field with 2,144 strokes and Alma is second with 2,164 strokes and Trine is third at 2,167.
