NEWARK, Del. - The ACHA Division I men's hockey team entered the national tournament as winners of the GLCHL regular season and tournament. They were the sixth-seed at nationals and fell 1-0 to 11th-seeded Central Oklahoma on Saturday in the single-elimination format. The Bulldogs season ends at 31-7 overall.

UCO scored the game's lone goal at 7:56 of the third period as Sam Rice scored from Peter Kressner. Adrian killed off three penalties in the second period to keep the game scoreless through 40 minutes. The Bulldogs dropped a 3-2 decision earlier this season on Sept. 25 at Central Oklahoma. It also was the first time in 38 games this season that the Bulldogs were shutout.
