ADRIAN, Mich. – The Adrian College men's golf team had a strong showing today in less than ideal conditions on the way to a team score of 322 which put them in second place overall in the seventh Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree.  This is the Bulldogs best finish in conference play this season.

The real story of the day was the weather as intermittent rain and strong winds affected play for all student-athletes, leading to higher than normal scores for most teams.

Fighting through the weather, senior Nick Hocker and freshman Mo Harb both finished the day with plus seven rounds of 78 which were the Bulldogs' low scores and were tied for sixth overall.  Sophomore Zak Hart also had a good showing with a plus eleven score of 82 which was good enough to tie for 12 overall.

Adrian will look to hold on to this momentum when it travels to the Wuskowhan Public Course in West Olive, Mich., for the final MIAA Jamboree of the fall.
